The FBCC After School Program is always looking for caring, dependable individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their lives.

Our staff helps create a safe, structured, and Christ-centered environment where students can learn, play, build friendships, and grow in character each afternoon.
Position Overview
After School Program staff members assist with daily activities for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Staff help supervise students, lead activity stations, assist with snack time, encourage positive behavior, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment
Responsibilities May Include

Supervising students during daily activities

Helping lead organized play, art, STEM, gym, or themed activities

Assisting with snack time and transitions

Supporting the weekly Bible verse and theme

Encouraging kindness, respect, and positive behavior

Helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment

Communicating with program leadership as needed

Employment Requirements
Applicants must successfully pass a background check and may be subject to drug screening as part of the hiring process. The FBCC After School Program is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment for students and staff.
Schedule
The FBCC After School Program operates on school days from approximately 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Applicants should be available during after-school hours. We operate based on the Lincoln Parish School calendar.

FAQ
Do I need previous childcare experience?
Previous experience working with children is helpful, but not always required. We are looking for dependable applicants who enjoy working with children and are willing to learn.

Do I have to be available every day?
Availability needs may vary. Please contact the ASP Board to discuss current scheduling needs.

Is this a faith-based program?
Yes. The FBCC After School Program is a ministry of First Baptist Church, Choudrant. Staff should be supportive of the program’s Christ-centered mission and values.

What ages do staff work with?
Our program serves students in Pre-K through 5th grade.
